Brexit

The Duty Free Zone. It is an ideal solution for companies importing goods from outside the European Union. It is a designated area where goods are stored under customs supervision and are free of taxes or duties. The Duty Free Zone is an important point in the international logistics network. The storage of goods in the Duty Free Zone is not subject to time limits, which means the possibility of subsequent sale on the Polish market or in third countries.

On January 1, 2021, Great Britain became the third country for Poland, because of Brexit. Transactions with contractors from this country are no longer treated as an intra-community supply or intra-community acquisition of goods, but are respectively replaced by exports and imports.

The Duty Free Zone enables:

  • Payment of customs and tax duties only upon the release of the goods for trading,
  • Unlimited goods storage time,
  • Possibility to divide large deliveries of goods into small batches,
  • No need to submit security for customs and tax duties for the duration of storage,
