We offer the Eco.Log.Steel logistics service. It is aimed mainly at the steel industry and, above all, at steel product manufacturers, hauliers, and rail shippers. We offer multimodal delivery of steel products by rail, unloading, storage, and last-mile distribution. This service combines functionality, time, and cost optimisation with ecology. Most steel transport is carried by rail, making it a more environmentally friendly, cheaper, and faster solution.
The location of the Silesian Logistics Centre allows for convenient road transport of steel products throughout Europe.
Logistics handling of steel products: coils, flat sheets, bars, jumbo coils, profiles, wire rods and pipes.
Scope of service:
- Unloading steel from railway wagons: Shimms, Rs, Res, Ea and trailers
- Warehouse storage
- Loading and distribution of products to final customers
Infrastructure elements and equipment:
- Modern warehouse – capacity of 20,000 tonnes
- Indoor rail track – operation of the entire full unit train under the roof
- Four overhead travelling cranes lifting capacity to 30 tonnes
- Electromagnet, lifting capacity to 16 tonnes
- Roll-stop stands
- Temperature and humidity monitoring system
- Vehicles + Coilmulda trailers
